GoalArt's systems works for all kinds of engines and vehicles.

A car manufacturer tests the electrical and control systems of the newly produced cars before they leave the factory. This testing is done manually and only covers about half of the systems. There are undetected faults in every fifth car, leading to considerable warranty repair costs.

The car manufacturer also operates workshops, were a service computer with diagnostic software is used to make service more efficient and consistent. However, this computer is not 100 % liked by the workshops. It often produces 10-20 faults for each problem, which means that the mechanic must do his own diagnosis anyway, and it sometimes forces the human to answer questions in a predetermined order, which offends the service personnel.

A large percentage of the new cars are faulty. This leads to large service costs for the company, and gives a picture of unreliability for the car brand. In addition, the repair costs are unnecessarily large because the workshops do not always use the service computer. Repeat repair costs inflict further damage to the reputation of unreliability.

GoalArt's alarm analysis and fault diagnosis can be used to build a test system for the factory. Each car is plugged in to the test computer, which reads data and prints a quality report where it is documented that all systems are OK at delivery.

The same system can be integrated into the workshop service computer. GoalArt's system will presented the root cause, making it easy to understand what is really wrong. It can also use questions, but the mechanic can decide in what order to answer the questions.
