NEW YORK ISO The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) manages New York’s electricity transmission grid – a 10,775-mile network of high-voltage lines that carry electricity throughout the state. The NYISO also oversees wholesale electricity markets where more than $50 billion has been transacted since 1999.  A PROJECT WITH NYISO AND ABB In 2007, GoalArt performed a pilot project in cooperation with NYISO and ABB Network Management. In 2008, the cooperation continued in a second project, with the aim to create a GoalArt alarm management system for the NYISO control center. The system will use CIM and be connected to the ABB Network Manager system.
