PER ANDERSSON Chairman of the Board and co-founder of GoalArt. Born 1960. M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Lic. Eng. in Computer Engineering, and Ph. D. in Computer Engineering, all from Lund University, Lund, Sweden. Previously an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Technology, Lund University, where his research focused on tools and methodologies for silicon design and on high-speed, low-power silicon technologies. Based on this research Andersson founded SwitchCore AB, a supplier of high speed switching devices for Ethernet-based routing, in 1997. Andersson was CEO 1998-2001 and the Chairman of the Board 2002-2008. In 2008 the business was sold to US based E-Silicon. Andersson runs a private consulting business, Palenetworks AB, and serves on the board of several companies and organizations. E-mail: per@goalart.com |
